Lumbini, the birth place of Lord Buddha is situated about 22km from Bhairahawa below the Churia range, 24km.The birth place of Gautama Buddha,Lumbini is one of the four holy places of Buddhism.In lumbini there is a place of pilgrimage where the archeological ramains associated with birth of Lord Buddha form the central feature.
